Singapore Airlines are the national carrier of Singapore and a good option for some pet flights. They have a separate cargo division and you can find out more about them here.

Singapore airlines offer multiple flights per day to Singapore and then on to Melbourne, Australia and Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand.

The flights to Singapore are direct from UK to Singapore and the pets can be collected at Singapore Changi quarantine station. There is more information about flying pets to Singapore here.

The flights to Australia/New Zealand are indirect flights via Singapore. The pets on these longer flights will stop in Singapore and transit at the airport. We have an agent in Singapore who will check on the pets during their transit and then feed and water them and ensure their crates are cleaned. This is a lovely extra service we include in our fees as it is important for the pets to be as clean and comfortable as possible.

The one difficulty with Singapore airlines is that they have quite a comprehensive banned breed list which includes not only the snub nosed dogs banned by many airlines, but also many of the larger breed of dogs. Here is the full list of banned breeds (which is subject to change, so it is worth contacting us to see if your dog is still on the list or has been added to the list) – Akita, Boerboel, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Chinese pug, Chow Chow, Dogo Argentino, Dutch pug, All Bulldogs, English toy spaniel, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, All Mastiffs, Pekingese, Presa Canario, Pit bulls, Pug, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Tibetan Spaniel, Tosa – and greyhounds for racing (pets can be flown, but only one per flight).

Singapore Airlines are a good airline to fly pets to Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, but only for the breeds they will take. So if you would like to use this airline to fly your pets, then please do contact us and we will be happy to advise the best options.
