North American countries (USA and Canada) are amongst our most popular destinations for travelling pets. The relatively short and direct flights make pet travel much simpler and much safer and more comfortable for the pets. Be warned though, many pets have suffered from their own from of jetlag, which means they may wake you up at three in the morning for their breakfast!

The rules and regulations for entry of dogs and cats to North America are reasonably simple. Ideally they will need a rabies vaccine (though not always) and a health examination before the flight to ensure they are fit, healthy and well enough for their flight. The rules if you have a young dog/cat can be slightly different, but if you look on the relevant page you will get more detail.
